Kid makes a JAMAICAN BIKE using Lighters, Very Creative!

It’s fascinating to see kids create things that ordinary grown-ups don’t even bother to have time doing. I’ve had that same interest when I was a child. I would create miniature cars or tanks made of wood and put improvised wheels on them, but this one is unique.

It’s also interesting to know that there are good innovations or simple inventions that you can create out of things that we normally throw away. All it takes is an idea and the drive to do it and you’re good to go.

In the video, a Jamaican boy demonstrates how to make a miniature motorcycle with the use of lighter parts. He is like doing a tutorial on how to do it maybe to teach others too. It’s very easy to follow because he does the demonstration one step at a time, and it seems like it’s so easy to follow. I believe anyone can do it.

Here, he disassembles two old lighter cylinders and getting only the parts he needs. He takes off the lighters’ shields located on the top part. Separating the lighter ignition wheel, he then takes off some little parts and sets them aside. He now gets the top part of the lighters and welds them together to make the body of the bike. He then puts back the ignition wheel to serve as the bike’s wheels and glues some of the needed parts to form the accessories.

As we can see here, he doesn’t use any other materials other than the lighters’ parts. All he does is glue everything together like the two little tubes that he puts as the handle bars. He connects some parts using super glue but welds two main parts to form the body and voila, the miniature bike is ready. The boy says he only got this idea from his friend and that he does this activity to keep himself occupied.
